World’s Largest Cave Passage
There’s a jungle inside Vietnam’s mammoth cavern. A skyscraper could fit too. Hang Son Doong, or “mountain river cave,” is in a remote part of central Vietnam. Hidden in rugged Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park near the border with Laos, the cave is part of a network of 150 or so caves, many still not surveyed, in the Annamite Mountains. You can read the full story of the cave explorers expedition here.
Nat Geo had a great issue about this. They even hypothesize that this cave set may have even helped in the Vietnamese efforts to win the war, for their people were able to use these caves and tunnels to escape and attack and yet we, the US, had no idea it was even there, this massive natural creation.

Unfinished, still working on it… but thought there was enough progress to share it.
Something I started to practice filling stitches but it’s turning out to be a lot nicer than I anticipated.

AMEN
i will always reblog this because i believe that 99% of anti-choicers have never given this question any real thought at all, and that is SO MASSIVELY PROBLEMATIC that i haven’t had enough coffee to cover it yet today
SUCH a prime example of the narrow-mindedness of most anti-choice people. It’s called empathy; maybe they should fucking try it.
